Our Lady School of Excellence a new promising School was established in
Tiruvottiyur by the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, Province of Trichy (FMA) in
the year 2018. Salesian Sisters of St John Bosco (or Daughters of Mary Help of
Christians) – INT) is a worldwide organization founded by Saint John Bosco
and Mary Mazzarello as Co-foundress. The Salesian Sisters are the largest
female religious order in the world and can be found in 93 nations across 6
continents. The Preventive System (Reason, Religion and loving Kindness) a
stream of positive activity flowing throughout the whole school, from the
Principal, to the youngest students which by its very positivity excludes
disorder.
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Happy to meet you as a member of Our Lady School of Excellence. Yeah, this is your Abode of education. Just in the outskirts, I would like to tell you one important thing. Asking our children to memorize facts in schools is like asking them to re-create the past. Yet, if we invite a child to explore concepts and ideas – such as fairness, tolerance, honesty – we then invite them to create a new future, for their ideas might be different from ours.
A person’s fundamental sacred beliefs determine their daily behaviors. Punishing a child does not teach them to ‘be better,’ but that violence is the way that people in control deal with problems.
